Welcome to the Ranch!

Rollin F Ranch is located only 1 mile south of Sebastopol in West Sonoma County. The ranch has been in our family for over 100 years and a few of our vines date back to 1906. Rich in history we offer private interpretive tours of our beautiful ranch. The trail is diversified offering views of the local mountain ranges, huge oak groves and woodlands. Wildlife seen along the trail include deer, fox, bobcats, skunks, raccoons and an occasional coyote. We also see birds of prey like the Red Tail Hawk and Marsh Hawk, migratory birds ie ducks and geese, and our local wild turkeys, quail, woodpeckers, robins and numerous song birds.

Rollin F Ranch property has been in our family for 4 generations.  We have old vines still growing that were planted in 1906. We replanted our vineyard in 2000. It is dryland farmed on vertical cordon. We planted Pinot Noir and Petite Sirah in the old world style.

We also have old Gravenstein apple trees and  wild blackberries.  Vegetable and flower gardens are scattered around the ranch. Seasonal produce from the ranch will be available to our guests.

Nancy Fiddler - Owner

Nancy is the Owner of Rollin F Ranch and the curator behind our fabulous trail ride.  Nancy took her first riding lesson when she was only 8 years of age and fell in love and had a passion for horses ever since.  She bought her first horse when she was 12 years old and never looked back.

Nancy has over 30 years of trail guiding experience from taking overnight pack trips through the Yolla Bolly Wilderness area to taking guided horseback tours through Redwood National Park located in Orick, California.  Nancy's commitment to excellence and drive towards horsemanship makes for an amazing experience at Rollin F Ranch.  Every one of her horses are well taken care of because they are family!

Zack Fiddler - Ranch Manager/Artist

Zack was born with the love of horses thanks to his mother Nancy.  He started riding horses at the age of 6 on his first horse.  He joined his parents taking tours through the Yolla Bolly Wilderness Area.  As a teenager he helped his father build trails in several National Forest areas and led his own horseback tours  in Crescent City, California.

Currently, Zack has masterfully put his artistry to work building sculptures that can be seen around the property.  He works very hard to maintain the trails and ranch development.  Zack also helps with training the horses.

Melissa Fiddler - Marketing/Tour Guide

Melissa was not born and raised around horses, but she has always loved and been fascinated by these majestic animals.  Through the years she has done various horse camps to learn about horse care and riding skills.

8 years ago Melissa and Zack fell in love and since have 2 wonderful children Jade and Levi.  Living on the family ranch gives Melissa and the children the opportunity to learn and be trained by Nancy.  Melissa loves to make the guests feel welcome and help Nancy with guiding the tours.  She also works hard at keeping the customers up to date with what is going on around the ranch via the website, Google, Facebook and Instagram.

Roger Fiddler - The man behind the scene

Roger is an avid camper for life.  During his General Contracting days he built trails in several National Parks and Forests.  He is also the designer of the current horse trail in Redwood National Park located in Orick, California.  He established the standards for horse camping recognized in National Forest areas.

Since his retirement, he keeps a low profile but he is the driving force behind Rollin F Ranch!
